Mohammad Ashraful is an explosive batsman who can single handedly turnaround matches in any format of the game. At 25, Ashraful already has eight years of cricketing experience playing for Bangladesh, and leading them for two years.Ashraful made his international debut in 2001, slamming a century against Sri Lanka in Colombo to become the youngest test centurion. In 2005, he showed his brilliance with a superbly timed century, which led to Bangladesh’s first ODI victory over Australia in Cardiff. He also played a vital role in Bangladesh’s victory over South Africa in the Super 8 round of the 2007 ICC World Cup in West Indies.His innovative stroke-play makes him an exciting batsman to watch. His temperamental ability to construct chases in tight situations is an added asset, and is crucial for a team to succeed in the T20 format.
